Often the advice you get at a gym or find online is very general and everyone is different with different strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes.
With a personal trainer we have a lot of knowledge that we can tailor to you to you have my full attention to pick my brain, ask questions to get answers to although those fitness questions you’ve never been able to get answers too
With personal training I will tailor everything to what’s best for you to move you forward faster whilst doing things you enjoy and keeping you safe from injuries
Many people when training on their own do too much too early then run out of steam, burn out or get injured or don’t do enough consistency to see the results they want.
With me their you won’t be able to get away with quitting early as I will be there to encourage you to do more than you thought but keeping you safe by perfecting your techniques.
Managing and progressing over time as you’re ready so you don’t go too far or pacing you to get the most from your training without increasing it too fast (where injuries happen) or too slowly (where results take longer).
Then tracking your measurements and progress so you can see how your doing when it may not be so visually obvious as it’s hard to see changes on ourselves.
I bring my equipment that’s needed with me to your sessions and can incorporate any equipment you have yourself if you want to. I can show you different techniques and exercises and train you in a different way though you’re probably used to from normal gym style programs. Finding ways to make it fun and the time fly.
I always try to make the programs as time efficient and varied as possible and have had the best results with most clients from more intense 30 min sessions. Most gym programs tend to be based around an hour as that is seen as the standard however the intensity you can maintain for an hour is a lot less than that which you can maintain for 30mins and intensity is one of the biggest keys to success for fat loss and supercharging your metabolism so you’re still burning calories even between sessions. Combined with eating advice that I can provide gives you a powerful combination for the fastest results.
As a personal trainer I’m here to support you all the way with advice, encouragement and technique correction. As we build up rapport over time I often take on the role of agony uncle too or just a ear for you to vent to. But what ever you need support wise I’m here for you professionally.

Hi I'm Dan your trainer. I have been a Qualified Personal Trainer since 2005 working with different ages and ability levels. Over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience that I will use to help you reach your goals as quickly and effectively as possible.
Dan makes exercise fun, the time really flies and no session is ever the same. It's far better than any gym or exercise video! I've definitely lost weight and toned up, I get reminded when people comment as it's often hard to notice the change in yourself. It can be hard at first but the pain makes it all worthwhile (you know it's working and it gives you a sense of achievement) and I promise it does get easier.
I have been fortunate enough to work alongside Dan Cook. A recurrent lower back injury had put a halt to my competitive year which is why i turned to Daniel for advice on rehabilitation, through exercises to strengthen my lower back and improve my posture. Daniel’s advice has been invaluable and his reassurance has enabled me to recover fully from my injury and begin training again for competition. Daniel is a very knowledgable and approachable personal trainer who uses modern theory on exercise in order to achieve fast and effective results.
